INSECT REARING

Insects are also important in improving agricultural soil. Through their activity in the soil, dung beetles increase nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium, calcium and magnesium or total proteins content which significantly elevate the yield of plants relative to chemical fertilizers.

Insects are important in the sustainable functioning of our agricultural systems and future food security. Insects play key ecological roles in diverse ecological processes such as nutrient cycling, seed dispersal, biodiversity, pollination, and pest control.

Bees, Ladybugs, Butterflies, Earthworms, Lacewings, Dragon-fly, Praying Mantis, Bumble Bees are useful as pollinators, decomposer and reproduction of plants. Some of them are useful to kill insects and harmful garden and yard pests.

We have started rearing of bees, earthworms and ladybugs on primary stage.
